So did McCain Fold and give * Cover for Retroactive Torture
I a not sure that the details have been released, but I am sure Americans have lost big time in this, because McCain and the like have become little more than a speedbump to this administration. McCain folds faster than a $2 chair.

I pray that some Fed DA out there would seek to charge Bush and the gang with violation to the 1996 War Crimes Act. I hope to god (but know they wont) that the Democrats call him to the floor to distroy him on this issue. As a former service member I am sick at the things that are done in our name under this evil SOB. I WANT THEM ALL IN JAIL.

3. I think McCain has a dotted line tattooed across his belly
makes it easier for him to fold. He is without a doubt the most spineless republican politician in Amurka (and right up there with a couple of Dems).

4. Historically that is what McCain does. Every time.
I think he decides how much air time he wants and bucks shrub up to that point, then folds.
The gut will do and say anything for a chance at the presidency.

A drama put on to convince us that our leaders are not really willing torturers, which they are in fact, as simple observation shows. McCain's job is to fold, that is his part in the script, and the Democratic "leadership" is will then "accept the inevitable" and refuse to throw the public tantrum which would stop this unconstitutional and illegal practice.

7. I'm with you
I think this was a complete set up! It is just to make the party look good, and to cover bush's ass. I hate these people for what they have done to our country and service personnel.

10. Our entire Congress, Democrats included, are a bunch of Quislings!
They pretend to have a conscience, then knuckle under, assuring the public "Thanks to our efforts, this latest assault on your freedoms isn't all that bad."

Quislings. Traitors to true America. All of them.

11. Was there ever any doubt?
Sam Seder just asked of McCain "How do you compromise on your morals?"

Easy - Old Keating Five McCain never had any.
