We used to wonder if it was ok |
|
for the cops to search the trunks of our cars during a traffic stop. Many thought it wasn't. It was an invasion of privacy.
Now, we discuss whether or not it is ok for the government to have cameras everywhere, whether or not it is ok for the government to search your house and computer without warrants, whether or not it is ok for the government to have the power to suspend habeaus corpus, whether or not it is ok for the government to know and read every message you write on the internet; every website you visit.
What a world. What happened to those who believe in privacy rights? What the hell happened to this country?
