Prediction: MSM Will Deep Six The Clinton Interview By The Weekend |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-27-06 12:34 PM by stopbush
It's not playing out the way they wanted. In fact, it's only getting worse for the Rs because every D I've seen on TV since Bill read that moron the riot act has been combative, forceful and factual.
The MSM/WH has lost the spin battle on the interview, so their only solution will be to get it off the air ASAP, shut down the talk show babble and move on to something, anything that can be spun as frightening to the American sheeple. Oh, sure, the Sunday talk shows will touch on it, but it will be in a "that already seems like distant history...a week is an eternity in politics" kinda way. The happy talk will include the "DOW at record levels" crap (ie: Bill Gates just walked into the room and we're all suddenly - on average - filthy rich) and how * "seized the NIE issue" and "remains STRONGLY combative" when it comes to defending his failures, er, policies worldwide.
Hope I'm wrong, but they've done it before. Just look at the lack of coverage the Iraq War (R-Illegal) is getting these days.

Democrats are getting over their "abused spouse" syndrome. Maybe they've stopped believing what the Reicht Wing says about them.
When you start from the position that your errors/flaws are more significant than anything else about you, you loose before you even begin.
