Where did all the Diebold fans go? |
|
There are quite a few "Vote straight Democratic in November" posters out there.
Have you all had this knee-jerk faith in the electoral system all along? Color me confused...

4. I'm not a diebold fan. I just don't like the tunnel vision on that issue - |
|
when there are all sorts of ways the GOP machine fudges elections. And no evidence that massive vote switching takes place. I speculate the exit polls were off for reasons other than diebold because exit polls were off in districts that had paper ballots.
Is it me you were talking to? Let's talk!

5. Who do you suggest voting for? |
|
Actually, what exactly IS your strategy? I'd be interested to hear it.

6. I'm not ruling out voting for the senators who failed us... |

I'm just questioning the DU vibe that straight ticket voting is the answer.
ETA that I think it's fair to question the credentials of Senate Democrats who pissed away the filibuster for nothing. Apparently that seems to be anathema today.

7. If I was in the position |
|
of having to choose between a Republican, and a Democrat who voted for torture, I'd be in a dilemma, to be sure. If the Democrat was leading by a huge majority, I'd consider spoiling my ballot or voting third party. But if it was only a razor-thin lead over the Republican, Then I think the Democrat would get my vote. Better a lousy Democrat than any Republican.

8. That's a fair point. But I've been questioning whether there are any Dems |

But I've been questioning whether there are any Dems left in the US Senate, and have been called every name in the book. And I think it's a fair question.
