Did bringing in Susan Kennedy as chief of staff work for Arnold? |
|
I could have sworn reading headlines a year ago stating that his numbers were in the low forties, and that he was totally screwed after getting all four of his ballot initiatives turned down by the voters. Now he's 10 points over Angelides.
You think she was a significant part of the turn-a-round? I really still can't believe it, I thought we were finally taking back the governships of CA and NY by 2006. NY I know is in the bag, I'm not so sure about CA.

1. The sheeple are falling for his moderate act again. |
|
The same crap happened in 2003. Arnie campaigned as a moderate and governed as a right wing kook. Now that there is another election, he is again campaigning as a moderate.

2. I'm not sure about my state either. |
|
I have always been suspicious that the election that put Arnold in as our governor was rigged. Really, there were better choices to replace Grey Davis. I'm wondering if this one isn't rigged either.
Also, Arnold suddenly turning into a liberal a month and half before the election is a purely political move that won't happen again until the next election.
Californians just remember he vetoed a great law for universal health care in our state that would have benefitted citizens and businesses alike, well except the health insurance and HMO industry, who are his major donors.
This is still a Republican wolf wearing his sheeps clothing for a month or two.

5. He was never opposed to it, just kind of lukewarm at first. |
|
He has gone on record stating that if he becomes Governor he will be willing to work with Sheila Kuehl, the author of the bill, to make it happen.

...makes Kerry's look like a well-oiled machine.
It's pathetic.
Would someone tell me again why this was a better choice than Westly?
