If Bush, Cheney, Rummy, RW Congress Reps, etc were truly honorable human beings they'd admit that they screwed upm admit that they were WRONG, admit that they LIED and ALL step-down for the sake of our United States of America. Instead they keep compounding the crimes, lies and horse puckey. :grr:

36. So Going After 16 Year Old Boys Is Conseusal? |
|
I've heard those calls as well and it's amazing how these immoral goons attempt to even connect the two. And then they try to make it seem like Democrats not just condoned Clinton's infidelties but encouraged it. Sheesh. The gaul of these hypocrites to be that desperate.
The end game here is one of the last bastions of Repugnican "moral authority" was torn to shreads with this resignation. Remember, this is a party that not only hates sex but sex offenders (or so they claim). Let's see how the "leadership" deals with the sticky wicket of explaining why they covered up Foley's problem and then kept him on as a chairman of a committee dealing with children and in the overall leadership. This is just as damning as what Foley did.
One more game they'll be playing and that's bringing up the Gerry Stubbs...the Mass. Dem. who was censured for his affair with a male page. But lost in their "indignation" was a Repugnican was also censured at that time...Daniel Crane...a Repugnican who was caught in corpus delecti with a female intern.
This has been one hell of a week for the Grand Old Perverts.

47. Ooops....Ya Mean He Got Caught? |
|
Seems like the corporate media has tried to spin this that someone Foley stood up and resigned on his own out of some magnanimous act. The Freepers are claiming "at least he resigned, and Clinton didn't". Well, if Clinton were caught propositioning young boys, you better believe Democrats would have called for his head just as loud as Repugnicans.
The corporate double standard here will soon become obvious. In 2001, the media couldn't get enough of Gary Condit and all but destroyed the man's life. They not only houneded him out of office, but kept on him afterwards. Will we see a similar treatment of Foley? Will they even have the balls to dig further and find out if there are more pedophile incidents in Mr. Foley's past? I've got a bright shiny dime that says we'll find out, but it won't be through the corporate media...it will come out here on the blogs.
