I used to think the people who called CSPAN biased were nuts |
|
but today they are biased with a capital B. Something like 2 Democratic calls out of close to fifty. Luntz must have interrupted the Democrat a dozen times with the host saying not one word. The Democratic pollster interrupts him once and he is all over her telling her to let him finish. He has cut off Democratic callers in the middle of sentences. My eyes have been opened.

They are usually a little more subtle. I guess they're nervous now. (Time to call in on the "wrong" line)

2. Because the way they set up their phones |

They take a Democratic call, then they take a Republican call, then they take an Independent call, then they take another Republican call. So, it doesn't matter if the Independent caller says something that sounds closer to the Republican line of thought-- their calls are taken just as often as the Democrats' calls. It's so annoying that I limit the amount of time I watch C-SPAN. Perhaps we should let C-SPAN know that we see what they're doing and it isn't right!

3. Media Matters determined that Cspan invites more GOPs to speak than Dems |

Hence, ending any fantasy that Brian Lamb's network is somehow an unbiased forum.
