Just to avoid having to be impeached?

Chimpeachment always had a nice ring to it.

2. No, he'll probably just retire to the UAE

He better not come back to Texas. I might have to permanently protest outside his "ranch". I mean, it's not like I have a decent job or a house or anything... might as well.

21. After elections, imagine Bush with no more power, (back to Crawford)
Bush would stay stuck in veto mode and that's it.

5. I don't know
But I don't think we can allow that to happen if we do win. If the chimp does resign, the government will be in the hands of Dickhead. Do we really want that? Better to impeach them both.

The risks of giving Cheney direct power are just too much.

13. No he won't. What does he need congress for?
He's already usurped enough power to accomplish his will without them.

The current rubber-stamp congress just provides a "sense" of legitimacy to his deeds.

15. No - even if he were impeached
he wouldn't be convicted and removed because that takes 67 votes in the Senate and that in NEVER going to happen. We are stuck with this twit at least until Jan 20, 2009...best we can hope for is to keep him so tied up in investigations that he can't do any more damage....

20. Bush with no more power is going to be entertaining to watch, even
Cheney with new lame duck VP. status will feign health issues (like Ken Lay) and resign instead of sticking around DC. with literally nothing else to accoplish will simply be rehired back as halliburton CEO.

23. Bush without power? - They better keep him away from those button the way
they did Nixon. Bush as a lameducky-boy will be amusing to watch but unfortunate for the US. troops in Iraq if new Dem power (after elections) fails to act immediately.
