Letter the DCCC sent me about supporting Laesch against Hastert |
|
Dear **** Thank you for writing us regarding the upcoming election in IL 14. As the officail campaign arm of the Democratic Congressional Campaign committee is committed to supporting Democratic House candidates at every step of the way through this critical election year.
In the end, we feel that the number one priority is bring as many seats as possible over to our side of the aisle, and we will be allocating our resources in the best possible way to ensure a Democratic majority come November. Many spending decisions will be made in the final weeks of the campaign. Again, thank you for your intrest and dedication to these elections. We very much appreciate your support.
Sincerely DCCC Action Team

People like Kerry or Clark would be perfect to stop by for a few hours or for a fundraisers. Kerry was just recently in Florida in Foley's district I believe.

3. I hope you're telling the DCCC Action Team Laesch is getting |
|
lots of good commentary and gobs (I hope!) of money due to the Foley fiasco and Hastert and Company converup. I donated to John, even though I'm unemployed (and live in Georgia.:-) ) I figure we need to help each other out to get out of this quagmire the Repukes have dumped us into.

5. They should allocate resources |
|
Wouldn't it be a damn shame to not even pick up Foley's district because they did a better job getting out the name of the new Repub than we did for Mahoney. The DCCC can't send money to everybody and the Repubs don't either.
If something more comes out against Hastert, the DCCC will be all over it. For now, they're doing what they should.

6. The DCCC and and Rahm blow. |
|
They will never get another cent from me until they change their ways. They come into districts and shove out the people's choices and put in their chosen candidates, they are what emblematic of the problem with the party. The DNC and Howard know how to build a party, whereas the elitist dorks in the DCCC (read Emmanuel) can take a leap.
