structure will see them through this. I suspect they will handle it somewhat better than many of us "English" would under the circumstances.

And also that they tend to live their whole life in the same community, or one nearby. So they have MANY close family members nearby.
They are also very accepting of God's will, knowing that it is all part of a greater plan. Their faith is strong.

from a society that tolerates neither family spats nor the invasions of Brittany or Paris....the Pure simple love of young girls who knew neither cynicism nor family strife...One might more easily crush a butterfly or piss on a pure field of snow near a virgin stream....and instead a violence so senseless as to confuse every rational thought-evil without aim nor slaking-true unabashed evil.The lord's gentle mercy on their souls and also on one so sub-human as to have done this...and the last part hurt to write...
