According to Force It on the Family (I'm sorry, "Focus"), Foley's transgressions are the fault of
political correctness.
According to Matt Drudge, it's the fault of
the kids themselves.
According to Foley's lawyer, it's the fault of the
Catholic clergy.
And according to Foley himself, it's the fault of

not, it's not like he checked himself into rehab

For some reason, it feels like I'm missing one. But in any case, the most important lesson to glean from all this is that Foley's sexual advances to children are not his fault. Any guesses on the next scapegoat? My guess is Bill Clinton for fostering a culture of debauchery with his adulterous behavior. After all, if Rush Limbaugh can
blame Clinton for the torture at Abu Ghraib, they sure as hell can blame him for this.
