WGN has a demo very similar to Fox Cable: older, RW, and ignorant. there are some exceptions, but it's a safe bet that most of the callers swing right

He sounds thoroughly fried. I would bet this has been a hell of a day for him. He was having a really tough time staying on the talking points - he would suddenly launch into a tangent about how the repukes are so great for the economy! Or that the repukes have kept America safe! in response to very pointed questions like "The Washington Times has called for your resignation as has most of the nations' top conservative pundits. What do you say to that?"

He was really struggling and it showed today from the little I heard. I was riding in the back seat of a mini-van with a lot of other folks and caught the end of the interview through the rear speakers but didn't hear who he was on with.

I suspect he is going to be declining more and more interviews in the next 24 hours since this thang ain't dying away like they usually do.

What a rude awakening for the Repukes eh? A scandal they can't just blow off and expect the media to follow like the slaves they (usually) are....

it to Hastert for going on Fatboy's show, and stiffing the local Chicago audience.

He also said that, by refusing to take the hard questions his listeners apparently had lined up for him, was an answer in itself.

I missed the part you mentioned, which wouldn't surprise me, as Williams is very MOR, leaning right, and has accused me of bias every time I've called in, because I've said things like "the New York Times is NOT a liberal newspaper. Liberal in comparison to, say, the Tribune, but if you think it IS liberal, I have two words for you: Judy Miller."

anyway, I think he'll come down against Hastert, seeing as how the CW now has him purged by the end of next week, earliest. did you see David Shuster's devastating report just on Olbermann?
