I mean, I'm sure something caused that traffic tie-up downtown today in DC, and in New York, and Seattle, and Minneapolis, and...

Hmm... but turning on the news I don't see any mention of it.

I guess I was imagining it.

Editing to add: :sarcasm: in case you didn't get it

3. Should have included the sarcasm tag
Yeah, I marched; I was just amazed at the media blackout (though apparently AP has it now)

9. You are right.
I saw it referenced several times today, but nobody bothered to provide a link or an explanation, just, "Are you skipping work today?" If there would have been as many threads about it as there were about the Foley Follies or the never ending cries for impeachment, then everybody would have known everything there was to know about it.

2. If a protest with a hundred thousand people happens in America...
...but no one reports it -- did it really happen?

4. I just read about it myself on the AP wire....
(10-05) 19:02 PDT WASHINGTON, (AP) --

Hundreds of people called the Bush administration's policies a crime and held up yellow police tape along a three-block stretch in front of the White House on Thursday as part of a nationwide day of protest against the president.

The 500 demonstrators were among many who gathered for similar events in more than 200 cities to protest Bush on issues ranging from global warming to the war in Iraq.

"We are turning the corner in bringing forward a mass movement of resistance to drive out the Bush regime," said organizer Travis Morales with the activist group World Can't Wait.

Some dressed in costume, including a hooded prisoner in an orange jumpsuit, a devilish rendition of President Bush and two grim reapers. One man wore a red cheerleader outfit with "Radical" emblazoned on the jersey.

Thousands of protesters clogged New York City's streets as they marched from the United Nations headquarters. Some people lay down in the middle of the street, while others carried signs saying "Expose 9/11" and "This war should be over." They also handed out fliers reading, "Drive out the Bush regime."

6. Correct
I have watched MSNBC and CNN and nary a thing about all the protests. Nothing nada. Can you believe that. It is a shame that when something like this happens there is never any press coverage. The so called "liberal" media ignores.

10. dmesg... I'm glad you marched.... I was following...
following WCW and would have loved to make an event. But I did do something in honor of the WCW marches. I donated to a great election fraud site. That will have to be my support for today.
