How did Mark Allen Foley get to be co chair of the children group?
Is it an appointment, is he elected? Does he get to just "sign up?"

Was he appointed there specifically as the ultimate cover for his pedophilia?

2. Why isn't this question being underscored in the press?
Foley's proclivities were know for years.....yet they allowed the fox to oversee the coop? Proof to me that the Republican Syndicate really don't give a shit about the people who they are supposed to be representing.

5. My guess is that
since the repugs do not have respect for government, this assured the committee would do nothing.

A point made in the discussion following last night's Moyer's piece was that the repugs do not have respect for government so it is not a reach to abuse it for one's own gratification (speaking of Abramhoff et. al.).
