FL-5 Debate update. John Russell(D) kicked Ginny Brown-Waites ass tonight
It was a good setup for them. Chamber of Commerce President Sponsor. Right-wing Tampa Tribune columnist Tom Jackson as moderator, and Pasco County Republican Party Chairman as timekeeper.

They couldn't save poor, old, hapless Ginny.

She tried taking credit for a VA hospital, which was planned 4 years before she was elected. John called her on it.

She tried talking about what a great homeowners bill she wrote. John had the facts that it didn't benefit anyone but the insurance company. She tied to save face in her rebuttal, saying it's a great deal for consumers. To which John held up the bill and said, "Can anyone look at this bill and tell me it wasn't written by an isurance company lawyer?

Kicked her ass on Iraq, Oil, Mark Foley, etc.

She's not happy tonight.
