KO utters the "F" word last night-- will others follow?
Edited on Fri Oct-06-06 08:42 AM by npincus
During his Special Comment last night, KO dropped the "F"-Bomb. Finally, someone in the MSM (hard to believe Keith is in THAT club) has said it. To me, that's "The Emperor has no clothes" media moment.

Of course, I would have preferred "MF" but Olbernmann chose the slightly nuanced option.

The "F" is "fitness" as in "fitness to serve". Calling into question all of the decisons that he has made and the language he is now using and the volume of lies that are stunning in their outrageousness and histrionics, SOMEONE is finally talking about that behavior as symptomatic of (mental)UN-fitness. I'm not a shrink, but the question of whether our Commander-in-Chief is mentally balanced should have been asked a long time ago. Now with Mark Warner backing away from the "stay the course" Iraq policy in the face of reality (he just returned from a visit there), B*sh and Cheney may be the last men standing on this crazy war as our troops die with every passing day.

There is no logic to B*sh's behavior and he is clearly cracking up in front of our nation's eyes. His mental fitness must be addressed NOW. Thank you, KO for doing so last night. It must be asked again, and often.

Can a Democratic Congress force an inquiry into a sitting president's mental health? If the president is given an annual physical exam can't he be given a mental one as well?

MSM, take note. It is your responsibility to ask the question.

1. I missed that, and I'm happy to see the subject...
being broached. Too late in my opinion, much of the damage has already been done, but maybe he's getting so bad that the whisper campaign has started in the press corps.

Slight correction, it was Senator John Warner (R-VA), not Mark Warner, former Democratic Governor of VA.

The PNAC are a bunch of criminally insane monsters and Bush is the worst of the lot.

KO is a true Patriot...

The questions should have been raised LONG AGO!! There is NOTHING FUNNY about this situation. * has no conscience. * has NO remorse. American Soldiers are dying. Innocent Iraqis are dying. AND the American people ALLOW THIS to go on.

4. There is a factor of his behavior that no one speaks about -
he is NOT SERIOUS except for about 1/2 dozen observable beliefs.

He is serious about Barney, loyalty, betrayal, revenge, farce, acting.

He agreed to be President and his handlers probably were quite confident that they could mold him. But, for me, his true self must be oozing out and I see limited seriousness in his existence.

>He is acting - badly.

>He jokes about everything. In the middle of a jounalists serious question, in a serious setting, he distracts with stupid, insulting jokes targeted at a single person - hell bent on pumping up his great self acclaimed wit. The truth is the so-called wit is barbed and armed with intense, internal meanness that juveniles grew out of.

In this journalist setting, he has no concern for the outcome - everyone feeling uncomfortable, an interruption of progress and the journalists need to be called on with only minutes left to get answers, and with a final result of being thought of as a fool. An absolute fool.

>The disdain he holds for human life is obvious. Lies are freely, casually, and willingly spewed with the intend of causing and perpetuating death. Theft is carried out on every level from our vote, our Constitution whle money and benefits are stolen for the purpose of carrying out death, for rerouting to the wealthy, and for the crippling or end of our country as the middle have known it.

On further thought - lies prove that he is serious about the opposite of what he says. Theft means he is serious about providing for one group of people.

He is a joke - a deadly joke which makes the people who pull his stings for him- what?
