I know it doesn't mean shit, but it's still nice to see the Dem's leading in both Houses.

3. WRONG!
Their calculations have Lieberman winning Connecticut, which puts the Senate at 50 R 49 D 1 tossup.

4. Is Lieberman running as a Dem or a Republican?
If he's running as a Dem then I can care less how you feel about his affiliation. As far as I'm concerned, it's about taking control of Congress.

Big picture people.

7. Also, once the election's over
Bush will name him Secretary of Defense, and the Governorette will appoint a Republican to his seat.

One of the Vice-President's traditional roles is to attend international functions and state funerals.

Pressure should be put on Cheney to be in Europe or Asia in service of this role. His failure to do so consistently should be shamed and questioned on a weekly basis.

The important votes could be scheduled on short notice to occur before Air Force 2 could make it back in time.
