Yikes! Will Israel nuke Iran?
This was in the Moonie-owned Washington Times today:

Iran option

A former Navy intelligence officer weighs in on how the world will stop Iran from building nuclear bombs: "I really believe the Israelis are going to strike several uranium processing factories soon. They cannot survive a first strike. This time, unlike when they sent eight F-16s to destroy the Iraqi reactor Osirak, I think they will use the Jericho missiles and the submarine-launched, nuclear-tipped Tomahawks to do nuclear strikes. Most of the factories are 150 meters underground and too deep for bunker busters."

2. Israel starts the war with Iran and the US runs to save Israel
That would keep bu$h from looking like the trigger guy this time.
It so wonderful when two fascist states work together to achieve disaster.

4. Except we already know ships have been dispatched to the area.
So I guess we're supposed to believe this was just a coincidence?

Perhaps a response to the growing threat in the region?

It's Iraq all over again. It's BULLSHIT.

bomb or help Israel bomb Iran? And the retaliation will be pulling the oil $dollar rug out from under the U.S. sending us into a depression?

'How'z' your Holiday plans? Expecting your nephew or neice to come home? Planning to fly across the county to visit your nephew or neice who is trying to live without their leg or eye or half their brain or their immune system?

This is Friday - and the crap coming from the Republican Party has piled up all week and I'm not in a good mood because they just keep layering on the debt, worries, lies, stealth un-American agendas, and they contine to kill and end our future.

8. And what religious Muslim nation is going to make a first nuclear
strike against Israel, thereby destroying the 3rd holiest city in Islam?

A nuclear strike against even Tel Aviv would kill more Muslims than Jews, and radioactively contamintate the holy land - which is no less holy to them than to Israel.

If Israel, or anyone else, nukes Iran it is NOT because they fear an Iranian first strike.

10. If Israel uses nuclear weapons first, they deserve whatever they get back.
NO ONE SHOULD USE NUKES FIRST -- NO ONE.

12. May you live in interesting times

1) Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the president of Iran who is trying to hasten the appearance of the Mahdi, who will appear at the end of days, after the world endures a period of war and suffering.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2006/01/14/wiran14.xml&sSheet=/news/2006/01/14/ixworld.html

2) George W Bush who believes he is on a mission from God.

My question is:

What if we held an apocalypse and God doesn't bother to show up?

13. This could have been written here.
Actually, I have seen versions of this written by DU'ers. The quoted piece is speculation, nothing more. It is "pro-war" propaganda making it sound as if all options have been exhausted and the only method left is an armed response. Besides, at this juncture, the Israelis have their hands full.

14. That's the likely scenario.
(1) Israel nukes alleged Iranian uranium processing factories.
(2) Iran retaliates, including ALLEGED strike on U.S. Naval vessels in the Gulf.
(3) We're off to the races, again.
