I was working for Chuck Robb's re-election campaign in '94 making phone calls when the repunks picked the ONLY repunk on earth that could have lost to Chuck Robb, Oliver North. Anyway I was a bit upset at the Robb campaign because their call out script did not include support for our Dem Congresswoman Leslie Byrne - although Leslie's script did include support for Chuck.... so I added Leslie to the calls and told every one near me making calls to do the same thing - and one guy asked me why should I do that - and I said well don't do it if you want Newt Gingrich to be Speaker of the House

I see no difference with what the repunks are doing - I would and have done the same thing.

And you know its not a given that Nancy Pelosi will be Speaker of the House - it is my understanding that Jack Murtha is going to "run" for Nancy's position in the new Congress - although I have to think Nancy would be favored to win.
