They're Going After Gay People Now
That's the new SPIN, that they'll try to sell to the SHEEPIE MORONS, who are probably too STUPID and UNEDUCATED to know any better.

Because every intelligent person knows that all gay people are sick pedophiles. All gay people violate laws by pursuing "pages" working for the government. If it weren't for "gay people" the repubs wouldn't have to COVER UP for the CRIMES of one of their own.

They'll use this BULLSHIT SPIN to suck in a few more percentage of their SHEEP, who will now spend the rest of their life thinking of gay people as potential pedophiles.

It is a sad & pathetic country we reside in. Is there any hope for us?

1. 8. The "Misunderestimating" Trap
Too many progressives think that people who vote conservative are just stupid, especially those who vote against their economic self-interest. Progressives believe that we only have to tell them the real economic facts, and they will change the way they vote. The reality is that those who vote conservative have their reasons, and we had better understand them. Conservative populism is cultural--not economic--in nature. Conservative populists see themselves as oppressed by elitist liberals who look down their noses at them, when they are just ordinary, moral, right-thinking folks. They see liberals as trying to impose an immoral "political correctness" on them, and they are angry about it.

Progressives also paint conservative leaders as incompetent and not very smart, based on a misunderstanding of the conservative agenda. This results from looking at conservative goals through progressive values. Looking at conservative goals through conservative values yields insight and shows just how effective conservatives really are.

3. I Still Think MANY Of Them Are MORONS
I know, because one of them works for me. She would believe that King george is the 2nd coming of Christ, if rushie tells her so in the morning, or O'Leilly says it at night.

She lives paycheck to paycheck, deposits her check within an hour of receiving it, because they desperately need the $$. Yet she believes she's better off under the current administration, and that they're God fearing Christians, concerned about her. She does her part by putting a yellow ribbon on her SUV.

She would NEVER let her 18 year old son be sent to Iraq.

2. Hear! Hear!
Why don't they demonize Christians, whites, and Republicans....which are also adequate descriptors of Foley's folly.

5. Well, they'll need to go after gay REPUBLICANS first...
Edited on Fri Oct-06-06 06:11 PM by IanDB1
That alone will give us at least three more seats in the Senate and a dozen in the House.

Yes, I know...

"...first they came for The Gay Republicans, and I didn't speak-out because I wasn't a gay Republican."

6. Amazing that most if not all of the pedafile stories involve young boys
but the actualy people I've met who were abused as a child are women. I've met one man who was abused. Seems like the media is trying to join the two.
