Loyalty Oaths as a Precondition for Voting. |
|
In a time of war, it's critical that we rally around the president. It's bad enough when America-haters try to embolden the terrorists by criticizing our leader, but it's a direct threat to our freedom when they go to the ballot box with this treasonous attitude. Therefore it's critical that Americans be required to take loyalty oaths before they are granted the privilege of voting. I'm sure the professional whiners will claim this is unconstitutional, but let us not forget what happened in Germany in the early 1930's when they lacked the courage to institute voter loyalty oaths. On second thought, that's probably what the terrorist-appeasers want to happen.
God bless America.

(I realize this is a touch to the Right of the prevailing tone of DU, but I'm trying to groom myself to be a political consultant for the GOP since there will be a pretty good market for such jobs after many of the losers will get fired in a month.)

1. So, are you questioning people's loyalty and patriotism?? |
|
For one thing, NOTHING will make me stand by puppet-president Bush. To me, he's as big an enemy to the US as any terror organization. If I saw him or Cheney drowning, I'd turn around and walk the other way.
Just my opinion. I could be wrong, but I know I'm not.

5. Sadly, it shall be detainment and torture for you. |
|
But no worries! After a couple of rounds of waterboarding and being forced to roll around naked with our life-like blow up dolls of Dear Leader and The Puppetmaster, you will sign our loyalty oath.

Clearly, loyalty oaths can be made in bad faith by unscrupulous lefties intent on undermining the American way of life. The only way to be sure of the allegiance of a particular voter is to torture them until they reveal their true affiliations and intentions. It is a simple matter for the government to use the new anti-terrorism legislation to declare every registered voter a "potential illegal combatant", thereby permitting the use of approved torture techniques upon them.
In the time-tested manner of the Salem witch trials, voters who die under torture while maintaining their loyalty to the government will be deemed true citizens. Those who reveal unsound allegiances, however, will be summarily tried and executed at specially convened polling station courts.
It's the only way we can be sure, in a free and democratic society, that only the truthfully loyal exercise their rights.

3. Forget the voters it is the military that needs to take the oath |
|
To the leader. Then they will have the power to get rid of all the undesirables and those that think treasonous things. Ether that or privatize the military so that there loyalty is to the corporation. Same results can be expected.
