So she is talking to the CIA chief at Tora Bora, the guy on the ground and he is explaining how he got no back up when he called for it and as he had OBL cornered and what does Nora ask him????
Are you a Democrat? asks Nora. He is a Republican, but that is beside the point. Are we at a point where no matter what your expertise you must declare your papers in order to present your findings? Wow!!!

Party with Tweety. She is practically genuflecting for Chimpy & Co. tonight. She is especially whorish tonight. Are you a Dem or Repub - she honestly doesn't realize what a "moranic" question that was.

When she asked him "Are you a Democrat", I said to myself would this make any difference if he were? He was on the ground in Tora Bora asking for Military assistance and got no help from Centcom (Tommy Franks) in Tampa Florida. I kept thinking about Sy Hersch's article back from those days of letting BinLadin go in Tora Bora.

7. Obviously, because he is criticizing the strategy that led |
|
to Osama's escape, in Norah the Whorah's mind he would have to be a Democrat, because a good, God-fearing Bush-sucking Republican would never criticize anything having to do with the GWOT.

Norah in fishnet stockings and a miniskirt. That's what I'm talking about!
Actually, I got the impression that she was giving him the type of questions that could help him. It sounded like she was trying to get him to throw Tommy Franks under the bus.

22. He was also interviewed on the Situation Room |
|
(MSNBC is no longer part of basic service on Dish. I miss KO, but he's the only thing I watch on MSNBC).
Didn't catch the name of the stand-in interviewer, but at one point he held up the agent's book (now I've forgotten HIS name! I'm just not much on names tonight) and opened it to a page that was mostly blacked-out. When asked why the CIA had redacted so much of his book including info that had already been published in other books, the agent said "I don't think they wanted my story to get out".
He was within a MILE of OBL, listening to him talk on a "push to talk" radio. When asked about Tommy Franks' comments about not knowing if OBL was there or not, he said that he was the agent on the ground and the CIA and military were getting all their intel from him.
Very powerful interview,IMHO.

24. I got the impression that it was just one question of her many questions |
|
The Democrat question came towards the end of the interview. She actually grilled him more on being positive about being able to capture Bin Laden and was rather detailed in her questioning of him.
I thought that she did a decent job and the question about being a Democrat actually ended up strengthening his claims.
Why not ask a direct question about party affiliation? Before she asked him, I would have thought that he was more Democrat than Republican AND I would not have guessed that he supported Bush. Her question really helped the Democrats. Her question showed that his opinion and recollection of the events had nothing to do with party affiliation.
I just don't understand why this guy supports Bush, that is what puzzled me.
If I were to e-mail her, I would say "Thank you".

27. I missed that because I don't watch any of the whore news |
|
channels anymore, but that certainly deserves some outrage and indignation. Maybe the journalists of the world need to set up an institute of journalistic excellence.
Good journalists would get prizes for excellence in reporting and then you could have various raspberry awards for that type of reporting. You could call thenm the Joe Gannon awards or something like that.
I mean it seems like the only thing in the past that made people want to excel in their field was recognition from their fellow professionals. Could it be worth a try?

29. I think you folks might be misjudging Norah. |
|
I'm assuming we are talking about Norah O'Donnell? Maybe she already knew the guy was a Republican and asked the question so that everyone would know it. Based on her previous reporting, I believe that is likely.
Remember when Bush gave his big speech at Fort Bragg not so long ago and was greeted with silence from the military audience. Bush got one burst of applause, and that was prompted by his own media flacks. I remember Norah O'Donnell pointing that fact out repeatedly.

30. If she were smart, she could of said |
|
For the record, your a registered republican?
I'd assume she gets as much backlash from the right-wing freepers as she does from us. Perhaps he was merely trying to diffuse what she felt would be a flame fest from freepers? "See, it's more media bias, i bet that guy is a registered democrat!"
Could she of been trying to be-head that hydra before it sprouted more heads?
Maybe I am giving her too much credit, but is it possible?
