If you mean Reynolds from NY, I doubt it. And he can say whatever he want, even if it were true, there is no way that Foley could have stayed a Congressman after what came out. He belongs to those who should lose their job because of this scandal.

|
abc had, remember Brian ross said Foley's chief of staff tried to make a deal that if Ross would hold back the im's than foley would give ABC the exclusive on his resignation.

An obscure and circuitous strategy at best.

8. as posted up thread ..... bull shit |
|
* Foley quit P.D.Q. when ABC told him they were going w/ the story. * Reynolds had prior knowledge as to Foley's actions and even knowing about those "actions," he took money from Foley, and then did not turn him in.
And didn't he do the presser w/ the kids so he didn't have to answer ?s ?

9. According to KO's lead story last night, |
|
Foley resigned as soon as the story broke, and Reynolds, Hasturd, etc, etc, didn't even have time to speak to him or ask him to resign. Claiming they forced him out is about like jumping up after tripping on your shoelace and falling on your face and announcing "I meant to do that!"

only after he learned ABC was going to release what Foley did and people would find out Reynolds is a pedophile enabler.

13. Probably no, by all accounts |
|
Never give these assholes the benefit of the doubt in the middle of a scandal that doesn't make any policy difference whatsoever.

This is a tidbit that doesn't matter in the bigger picture of anybody's life, doesn't matter later, but matters completely RIGHT NOW. This is the part of politicing that seems to me to be okay to take chances on. To my knowledge, Foley resigned on his own. Until I hear different from a reliable source, that's what I'm sticking with. That's how you be an echo chamber.

He should have forced him to resign when he knew about the interaction with the pages.
