Joe Democrat may care, but America has always been an inwardly looking country. It has always been isolationist in culture if not in political culture. I dare say if corporate interests didn't dominate Congress and the US, we would never be as entangled in foreign affairs as we are today. We would not be helping corporate interests in the raping of over half a dozen different countries across the planet from El Salvador to Iran.

6. All "capitalist" countries do 'business' throughout the world.

The point is, I think, there is a 'guideline' that, IMHO, defines the limits none of them should overpass and it's called "International Law" in the book.

Whatever the reasons criminals might invoke to 'try' to 'justify' their obvious crimes, The Law Is The Law, and despicable war criminals should not get a free pass nor should they ever manage to get away with breaking it (and/or with trying to alter it just to cover for their own arses).

8. I agree, but the law is pointless if you don't enforce it

For the last 50 years and even longer, the US has toppled democratically elected governments, sold arms to thugs and criminals, supported some of the worst dictators, and waged aggressive wars in the name of the corporate bottom line. Back then, war profiteering and assaults on liberties were justified under the guise of anti-communism. Today, it's the guise of anti-terrorism.

I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902–1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested.

Then I can only suggest (or dream?) about the U.N. giving (together) the following guys the proper 'means' (budgets?) to 'enforce' the law (of a majority) of the world:
