Poll question: Can I have a show of hands: Who here knew medicare would be screwed |
|
especially with the new prescription plan.
I mean, why can't they just put forth a simple plan with prices NEGOTIATED with the drug manufacterer where you could pick one of 3 plans:
Plan #1: Full coverage for meds. People who pick this plan would pay a higher cost per month out of their SS check Plan #2: Meds covered but with a co-pay. This would cost the patient less per month to select Plan #3: Opt Out
There, I just redesigned the new prescription health plan for seniors

1. Is there anything that they |

don't screw up? I would have been shocked if it actually worked.

2. That prediction of disaster was a no-brainer. |
|
That's also what the Cabal's planning for Medicare required: No brains.

3. The bill was written by industry lobbyists. 4. They used strong-arm tactics to keep the vote open and get the votes they needed.
I'm sure there was more evidence that was contemporaneous with the passage of the bill that is was going to be a disaster.
Also, immediately after passage the story came to light of the accountant (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services chief actuary and cost estimator, Rick Foster) who calculated the bill would be much more expensive than the public numbers, but was threatened with dismissal.....
on edit added detail re: Rick Foster

5. Again, the cabal is more concerned with corporate |
|
pharma profits than American lives. As much as we've seen over the past few years, their priorities no longer surprise me.

I knew there would be kinks in the system being so huge. But I do have to admit the errors have been corrected rather rapidly. Everyone I know has has the kinks worked out of their problems & it has been less than a month since it went in to effect.
