Gosh its hard keeping foley out of the headlines! |
|
Almost three weeks now! Dirty, filthy, sleazy foley has dominated the headline news cycle longer than any other 'distraction' I've seen in years. Here we are in the middle of a clusterfuck of monstrous proportions and we must discuss homosexuality, deviant pedophilia, and the politics of personal destruction and blame.
foley has shattered the bush base to it's core, and bush had his worst year ever in the wake of Katrina. Its been a toss up between foley news and war news, fighting for the headlines.
The republican attack and smear machine seems to have a wrench in it's gears, belching smoke and fire, making an ungodly rattle. It would almost be fun to watch, if there weren't such horror going on.
How DO they gain the floor again? How do they get foley off the headlines right before this important election? I'm afraid to think about it.

1. And yet on CBS this morning I heard... |

The Foley matter will have little impact on November's elections. According to the smartasses at CBS, Iraq will be the major reason for Republicans voting/not voting this time around.
