HBO to Premier 'Hacking Democracy' Just Prior to November Election!
The investigative film, nearly three years in the making, is said to lay out a devasting case against E-voting in general, and Diebold in specific.

We're told there are some remarkably damaging revelations to be seen — and heard — in the film which includes not just interviews with Elections Officials, Computer Scientists, Security Experts and Diebold Spokesliars, but loads of on-the-scene, first-hand documentary footage of some of the most remarkable and stunning moments during the long road of discovery in the E-Voting Revolution Scam that's been perpetrated on American democracy before, during and since the 2004 Election.

15. A couple days before the election would be the most effective timing
HBO has it right here, as much as we may wish it were so we can NOT do anything about the machines that will be used in this election as it is far too late for that. There are way too many legal loopholes, and we simply do not have time to get through them all in the few short weeks we have. I don't like to say that and I wish I could tell you better news, but the reality of the situation is that there is not enough time to take the case through the whole legal process in such a short time frame.

By airing this documentary as close to the election as possible, the issue will be fresh in voters minds and they will ask a lot more questions on election day as well as in the days following the election. This will be our best defense against fraud, and HBO is really doing a great service for our democracy. It would have been better if this film ran a few monthes earlier when there was still time to get the courts to put a stop to this type of election fraud, but it is too late for that now. At this point the closer to the election that it runs the better.

8. Mass confusion at the polls will act in the Republicans favor....
The more obvious the screw-ups, the better the arguement for maintaining the "status quo", which, as we know.... MUST NOT STAND.

I don't like the way that B*sh says, without equivocation, that they will "keep control of Congress".
I fear that November will be rough indeed.

10. My Biggest Fear Is Mass Chaos That Takes Months To Sort Out w/Courts
.... which would likely keep everyone presently in office in place until there is a definitive result in each race, which could take a very long time.

Add to this, total all-out war in Iraq, provocation and possible attack on Iran, etc.

We could be in the middle of a storm with no clear path back to sanity. All playing to the Repubs benefit.

12. Wow, HBO has been amazing lately
first the Katrina film, they got Bill Maher, and now this.

I also think some people need to stop bitching so much. The movie is simply not ready to be released now. Nov 2nd is better than having it air after the election. This will bring huge media attention to vote fraud in the 2004 election. Sure, 2 years late but better late than never.
