Happy Anniversary to the Clintons and to Saturday Night Live
On this date in 1975 in the beautiful Arkansas City of Fayetteville, Bill and Hillary were joined in Wedlock, and on this date in 1975, Saturday Night Live premiered in New York on NBC. What a happy, wacky day that must have been.

3. First SNL sketch. John Belushi learning English from Michael O'Donoghue.

6. I thought it was Wolverines, not alligators
I was watching-I was 11 years old, but I was watching the first night.

Too bad SNL is no longer funny. The original cast (with chevy or Bill Murray) was great, the cast with Michael Meyers, Dana Carvey et al was almost as good, and now, without even Will Farrell to brighten it up, it just sucks. It's enough to make me miss the Head Banger's Ball.

7. OMG - it is wolverines....and I should know that of all people....
I've mentioned a few times that wolverines was one of O'D's favorite words.

My little blm daughter has been talking alot about alligators, and she has intruded on my brainwaves.

8. Yeah, O'D and Belushi started that, and Chevy continued the gag to open
every show with fall. Kind of like a good luck charm.
