Dear Editor, Rockbridge Weekly:

There are times that trouble us. There are times that make us afraid. There are times we find hopeless and we are plain old scared. In times such as these, someone is willing to stand tall, willing to make decisions and choices.

George Allen stands tall. Having been our Governor and made things better, he went on to serve in the Senate. He was not afraid of foreign enemies or homegrown ones, nor has he forgotten that his first duty is to the people of Virginia, the people who elected him. He has not forgotten the meaning of the word loyalty, and stands strong behind our President, for whom else will defend us against Jihad Arabs and North Koreans.

Throwing muddy words and muddy accusations at a knight in shining armor is foolish. George Allen, the knight, stands tall and very shiny in the light of TRUTH.

Too many are willing only to choose, or only to decide, but George Allen is shiny enough to do both. Let us not throw muddy words and muddy accusations at George, so that he is better able to exterminate Jihad Arabs and other muddy races. As a Pfister, I know what it means to stand strong behind someone, and I know from experience that George Allen's behind stands stronger than Mark Foley's, George Bush's, or even Jeff Gannon's.
