How long before Google is considered part of the "Liberal Media?"
Really.

People can find news stories from all over the globe... Some of which contain truth.

Or, will the Neocons try and push the China route with them?

Google and Yahoo have stated that in essence, they will not break a nation's laws so all bushco needs to do is pass a law forbidding bad news about their exploits because it might help the terrists!

Could it happen?

Will it happen?

What would YOU do?

1. Uh, what would anyone do, if the courts allowed it?...
If the courts said the government could shut down the New York Times for publishing bad news, it would be legal. The courts are unlikely to find such a thing legal, but if they did...

Well, if pigs had wings, maybe they could fly, too. Doesn't make it likely.

5. That monstrosity's not even signed into law yet.
My point is, Bush could get a law passed and crack down on ANY news organization unless the courts told him to take a hike (and he obeyed the courts afterwards). It's in no way specific to Google. In that sense there's nothing new at all...
