2. President Idiot mangled the hell out of that word today.
Another Bushism. He can't say "intransigent."

intransigent

Main Entry: in·tran·si·gent
Pronunciation: -j&nt
Function: adjective
Etymology: Spanish intransigente, from in- + transigente, present participle of transigir to compromise, from Latin transigere to come to an agreement -- more at TRANSACT
: characterized by refusal to compromise or to abandon an extreme position or attitude : UNCOMPROMISING <intransigent in their opposition> <an intransigent attitude>
- intransigent noun

3. I read the transcript and that word jumped out.
I wondered to myself "How did he pronounce that? Because it sure wouldn't have been correctly." So now I know - thanks!

4. I heard him mangle it. It was literally laugh out loud funny.
Almost as good as the mangling of subliminal some years ago. "Subliminible."
