1. Attack Iran? Rather position the Navy to provoke Iran to attack...

This is a very real scenario...
With Iran testing new anti ship missiles and speed boats and such.

Bring the Navy close enough to the bee hive and one bee will sting.
Then the US Navy was totally innocent and surprised and off course it's their holy duty and right to defend themselves.

There you go...

2. Russian

Sun Burn anti ship cruise missile and some other missile even more deadly is one of the main parts of this audio. It informs you that these two missile systems are the world's most advanced and deadly anti-ship missiles and that the only way U.S. Navy ships can defend against them is to identify and take out launchers and/or planes before they are within range. And they have quite a long range on them. Apparently Russia is superior to us in this missile department.

Very interesting audio file to say the least.

Naval interdiction exercise said planned for Gulf

Wed Oct 11, 6:28 PM ET

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Facing nuclear disputes with Iran and North Korea, the United States, Bahrain and other states will hold their first naval exercise in the Gulf this month to practice interdicting ships carrying weapons of mass destruction and missiles, U.S. officials said on Wednesday.

The exercise is taking place as the United States and other major powers are considering sanctions including possible interdiction of ships on North Korea, following a reported nuclear test, and on Iran, which has defied a U.N. Security Council mandate to stop enriching uranium.

The exercise, set for October 31, is the 25th to be organized under the U.S.-led 66-member Proliferation Security Initiative and the first to be based in the Gulf near Bahrain, across from Iran, the officials said.

A senior U.S. official insisted the exercise is not aimed specifically at Iran, although it reinforces a U.S. strategy aimed at strengthening America's ties with states in the Gulf, where Tehran and Washington are competing for influence.

Anyone else remember the result of the naval exercise Reagan ran in the Gulf of Sidra back in 1981, when Gadhafi claimed Libyan territorial waters extended 12 miles out?
