Born again Repubs, put your representatives to THE TEST!

I know you are shocked that there are gay republicans and there always have been, just like there are gays and lesbians in your own families. Now you need to shed even more light into your republican elected representatives who've always relied on your faithful votes.

Put them to the test. You know the test, the one you should all take yourselves, the "True Christian Test". FORCE all of your republicans to take the True Christian qualifier, do they help the poor like Christ admonished?

Do they help the sick, and cloth the naked? Do they turn the other cheek? Do they do unto you as you would have them do unto you?

Did they do ANYTHING they promised you as Christians they would do?

I dare you born again bush supporters, I double dogma dare you to expose the hypocrites you were warned about in your holy book. The very hypocrites your Lord told you to look out for so, so many times at Sunday school.

And after you've made them take the True Christian Test, take it yourself, and if you score below 60%, then shut the fuck up and go home and stay out of my government.

2. The problem is they've been sold a loopy Calvinism

where all things evil are justified if you're doing them in Christ's name. Another part of that is determinism, the idea that the rich are anointed by gawd and can do no wrong, while the poor are cursed by gawd and can do little right. Also, they justify the unacceptable means by their unattainable ends: just as soon as there is heaven on earth, the poor will be taken care of. You know, like dangerous animals in zoos are.

People who call themselves rapture ready have been taught to acceopt the crazy version of Calvinsim, groove on the Jesus myth, and ignore all the teachings. Most of them will have to be buried by events, not awakened by logic.

I had forgotten about the Calvinists (with twist of Social Darwinism). I knew I've tasted this before. We're in a stew that includes a touch of Torquemada/Caligula, dash of the dark ages and a sprinkle of Atlas Shrugged and of meat from Salem Witch all cooked up in a Gilded Pot.
