Did Foley Actually Go to Rehab Center?? |
|
Wonkette implying that Foley not even in rehab center at all. Take that for what it's worth.

1. It sounded suspicious from the outset. |
|
I think he just wanted to stay away from investigators.

2. How would we know? The media hasn't asked the question-where is he? |
|
With possible criminal investigations underway you would think our inquisitive press would be wondering just what clinic this man checked himself into and you would think they would be hounding his doctors as to his 'rehabilitation' YOU'D THINK.

3. I'm very suspicious about the rehab story. |
|
Of course, he may pay privately at some hi-end facility.
Otherwise, there is an issue of insurance fraud, if he doesn't really need intreatment treatment for alcoholism.
And--can anyone name even one inpatient facility for cyber sex addicts?

8. It would be treated as a sex addiction |
|
And there are facilities for that. Place called the National Center for Sex Addiction (I think?) has a referral list if you want to peruse it.
Realistically if he is in rehab, the only way anyone *should* be able to find out is if one of Foley's people spills the beans. Addiction treatment has some of the highest standards of confidentiality out of any helping profession.
For what its worth, the story smells fishy to me too.

Isn't a single one of these fascists honest...? Not even one? This has to be the most corrupt gang of subhumans ever to walk the earth. I do actually think they're inching ahead of the Nazis. There's certain more collusion and piglike filthiness to them than the Nazis exhibited, and I say that as someone Jewish. There's no low these guys apparently won't stoop to. I guess what I am saying is, the Nazis shared a certain sick Aryan pride about how they saw themselves. These U.S. reichsters are like boars wallowing in a pit. No pride, no honesty, no virtue... just... nothing.
I wish I could point a remote control at America in 1999 and push record.

6. When his lawyer had that "bombshell" press conference, he said |
|
something like, "When Congressman Foley gets out of st-, the hospital," (if not the hospital, it was something like that). He definitely stumbled over where Foley was, and I found that suspicious. It wasn't like a stupid Bush mumble-stumble. It was like he almost said something he shouldn't.
