Fed Employees-Incl 1 WH Staff & NSA Got FAKE Diplomas
Lawyer: Gov't workers got fake diplomas

SPOKANE, Wash. - At least 135 federal employees, including a White House staff member and National Security Agency employees, bought bogus online college degrees from a diploma mill, a lawyer in the case against the mill operators said.

Some of those who paid thousands of dollars for phony diplomas include a senior State Department employee in Kuwait and a Department of Justice employee in Spokane, defense lawyer Peter S. Schweda said Wednesday.

The bogus degree purchases by the federal workers were revealed Wednesday during a U.S. District Court status conference for five defendants in the case against the mill, The Spokesman-Review reported Thursday.

None of the federal officials was identified during the conference.

5. It's safe to assume...
...that he can't be said to have earned a Yale degree...or his Harvard MBA, for that matter. When you've got money and connections like the Bush klan, even the Ivies are just diploma mills!

Bush’s Personal Aide To Enroll at Business School
Gottesman, college dropout and former beau to Bush daughter, to begin in the fall

Crimson Staff Writer

A 26-year-old college dropout who carries President Bush’s breath mints and makes him peanut butter-and-jelly sandwiches will follow in his boss’s footsteps this fall when he enrolls at Harvard Business School (HBS).

Though it is rare for HBS—or any other professional or graduate school—to admit a student who does not have an undergraduate degree, admissions officers made an exception for Blake Gottesman, who for four years has served as special assistant and personal aide to Bush.

Gottesman, a Texas native who attended Claremont-McKenna College in California for one year, has long had ties to the Bush family. He dated the president’s daughter, Jenna Bush, nearly ten years ago when he attended St. Andrew’s Episcopal School of Austin.

...

Gottesman has declined all requests for comment on his business school admission, but White House staffers have described him as loyal, warm, and fun-loving.

8. "Loyal, warm...
...and fun-loving?" Well, he certainly belongs in a "prestigious" institution like Harvard, then!

7. I'm responsible for hiring people in my department, and one day
I got a resume from someone who claimed to have a J.D. (doctorate of law?) We are not a law firm, we don't hire lawyers, we have nothing to do with the field of law, as a matter of fact. He even signed his letter Dr. John Doe, J.D.!!!!!

The credentials for the job he was applying for involved little more than a HS Diploma and valid driver's license.

Curious, I looked up his "university" online, and sure enough it was a diploma mill. He bought his J.D. for $600.00!

So, I thought about buying a PhD in Chemical Engineering because I think it sounds very impressive, but I decided against it. I really don't have $600 to throw away on a degree that won't help me in any case.

Go Republicans! Lie! Cheat! Steal!
