this is my response, which you are welcome to use, to ANYONE who tries to throw up Chappaquidick, or Stubbs, or didn't want to appear anti-gay, or any other of the myriad distractions to the Foley scandal.
No matter what they say, keep coming back to that, phrase it differently each time:
"So what you're saying is we should protect child molestors, if they support President Bush"
"So getting a 15 year old page to masturbate with you is protected republican free speech?"
"so protecting a sexual predator from getting caught while they continue to troll for kids is being patriotic?
"So reporting a sexual predator to the FBI is politically motivated, but harboring one secretly to keep from losing elections is not?"
