Ya gotta love this. I wonder how many real conservatives feel the same way. I suspect it is quite a large number - if in fact they are true "conservatives" and haven't sold out.

We’ve endured bloated budgets, we’ve seen government grow larger and more intrusive, and we’ve seen the Congress in the control of criminals, hypocrites and liars. Now we find sufferance of, and cover provided, for a pervert. What will it take for conservatives to realize the Republican Party is being led by a gang with no principles and no commitment to your values?

Conservatives wandered in the wilderness for decades while the Republican Party promised to take power and reduce the size of government, free us from the yoke of federal bondage, increase our liberties as individual citizens of our once-free Republic. Remember restoring honor and credibility?

Since taking over, the Republican Party has been all about staying in power. To do that, they have sold out every principle they ever espoused, betrayed every promise they ever made to the rank and file conservatives, and lined their own pockets.

Good points and a good way to show how no real Conservative can be happy about how Bush messed up.

It seems to be a very close race, but I really hope that Ford can win it. I always hear that he is running a smart campaign.

3. Why are so many people here quick to praise Conservatives

despite what this guy says and what he wants to believe, Corker is conservative.

I have heard more than I care to about the virtue of "true conservatives". There is no such thing. Only difference between a "true conservative" and a "big government conservative" is that the "true conservative" hasn't been elected to office.

They all get to DC and sell out, because their ideology is a lie. Their platform is a lie. Their campaign promises are lies. Conservatism, itself, is a lie and cannot be practically implimented.

Its nice to see a conservative tell people to vote for a Dem.

But they are just waiting for something better to come along.

And they usually get in their shots at the Dem and Dems and liberals as a whole while doing so.

4. Ford shredded Corker in the debates and did it with a smile.

Harold Ford, Jr. is the best damned debater I have seen in eons. He's gonna walk away with a Senate seat. Take it to the bank.
