I can't believe the hubris of these asshats.

Just on Scarborough.
Of course, the Democratic strategizer didn't hit the point that Bush gave them $90+ million in 2002.
We sure need people out there armed with the facts.:sigh:

4. Didn't he end the Korean War by threatening to use nukes?

11. Well Technically
the Korean war never ended, it is in a cease fire or amrmistice.

I found the following description at Historicaldocuments.com

The Korean Armistice Agreement is somewhat exceptional in that it is purely a military documentno nation is a signatory to the agreement. Specifically the Armistice Agreement:

1. suspended open hostilities;
2. withdrew all military forces and equipment from a 4,000-meter-wide zone, establishing the Demilitarized Zone as a buffer between the forces;
3. prevented both sides from entering the air, ground, or sea areas under control of the other;
4. arranged release and repatriation of prisoners of war and displaced persons; and
5. established the Military Armistice Commission (MAC) and other agencies to discuss any violations and to ensure adherence to the truce terms.

The armistice, while it stopped hostilities, was not a permanent peace treaty between nations.

10. You see he shouldn't of asked it as a question
He should have said, "the party of personal responsibility has been in power for the last six years." Let 'em laff at that.

7. I was starting a thread on this, then saw yours. amazing, yes?
what was sickening was how ill-prepared the dem guest was.

he should have spent a half hour HERE before he went on; then he could have gone right down the line, refuting the BS Scarborough spouted as he totally misrepresented what happened over the years

guess JS didn't read the part about how NK amassed enough fissile material for two bombs during the Reagan/Bush years, just for starters

this thread is for all you DUers who think Scarborough is anything but the sleaziest RW shill, who occasionally spouts a few populist points, in order to garner some of the KO demographic

he's beneath contempt

that if the Dems don't take back the house and senate this time, at least they won't be able to blame the whole Iraq war mess+9/11+the flailing economy+the consequences of global warming on the Dems in 2008. "Those democrats had two whole years-look at the shape the country is in".

Well ok it doesn't really comfort me ....
