That's Roskum (whose running against Tammy Duckworth) and McSweeny (running against Melissa Bean) up there with Gym Teach Denny. Now was this rally in a local high school with hundreds of screaming supporters, pom poms and marching bands? Nope. Was this at a local town hall where voters could hear the candidates and rally the troops for the final push? Nope. This was at a ritzy downtown Chicago hotel that was strictly a "cash & grab" deal for booosh and there was very limited press or public access.

Right after that, Roskum went and had his ass handed to him by Duckworth at a debate that I hope C-SPAN airs. A fellow DU'er was there and has a great report:
