Chris Dodd finally to campaign with Ned Lamont today |
|
In West Hartford at 5:45pm today. I wonder if Dodd is still upset about Joe blowing him off on primary day? http://www.nedlamont.com/page/event/detail/visibility/wrjz

but I'm glad. The NY Times wrote off Ned yesterday, saying that the Dems in the Senate are preparing to just welcome ole Joe back just like nothing had happened.
I'm still hoping and working for Ned. I know that we'll be proved right about what Ned has been trying to say to voters regardless of whether he wins. I'd like our side to win an election for a change, though.

what happened to Ned's campaign - did he let up - did the Dem leadership not come through for Ned - how the hell could this pathetic little twerp be winning - it is beyond my comprehension - nobody should vote for Joe Lieberman - he lost the primary and has shown complete disrespect for the voters...man this race makes me crazier than any other....

The media seemed to like Lamont before the primary, but then after the primary, they have been pro-Lieberman (with the exception of the Manchester Journal Inquirer - see this editorial here) - http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=364&topic_id=2380752&mesg_id=2380752They also did not have much of a media presence until October - not as many ads on radio or TV.

8. The republicans in CT have just snubbed their own candidate |
|
and want Joe to win. The unaffiliated couldn't care less if Joe betrayed his party and a good number of them feel that JOe's just fine for them. What irks the hell out of me is when I call for Ned and encounter a Democrat who says he's voting for Joe. I got exasperated yesterday and asked calmly "So you are supporting Lieberman even tho he is not the Democratic candidate?" He said "Yes" very smugly. I can handle the "I am a personal friend of JOe" response I sometimes get, esp. with New Haven people I call. But sheesh. Wish I could personally throw these traitors out of the party.

9. Hi Jeff. Do you ever suspect that there was an organized |
|
plot to make the media turn around on Ned or is it just that Ned's polls have been bad? It seems like every day there is another media story about how bad Ned is doing in the polls...
