I have gotten more negative reaction from this set of stickers
than any other. I have been flipped off, followed, & yelled at since displaying this collection of stickers.

Not that I disagree with any of it, I don't.

But in these parts you'd be replacing that window.

I should have included links to the shops I got these at, but I frequent several & don't always remember where I got them. I must have close to 100 different stickers. Prior to '04 I would have NEVER put anything on my car. ;)

BTW, I'm looking for a sticker on the recent detainee bill & habeus corpus. Have you got anything?

7. Those are great
I've been driving around with an Anti W sticker for the past couple years. I got a lot of dirty looks for a while, and a few birds, but not anymore. I live in Henry County Georgia, a true Christian fascist stronghold, and I'm seeing a lot less Bush 04 stickers around. As we head for the polls in November, I take it as a good sign.

Thank you for taking on the neocons! It's harder in some states.

I have "Be Patriotic: Impeach Bush" (that's Carl Sheeler's design), "Regime Change Begins at Home," "Support the Troops, Bring Them Home," "No More Excuses, Stop the Abuses" (a Distressed American design) and "We're Making Enemies Faster Than We Can Kill Them."

Old ladies have walked up to me in the grocery store parking lot and men have approached me at the gas station and started coversations about how horrible Bush is, and people have pulled up next to me in my car and started yelling "Impeach! Impeach!" while waving and smiling. But I'm in a predominantly liberal Minnesota city.

After that, I never had anything negative in my very blue area. I've had some equally volatile selections & have not encountered this type of negativity. That's why it's been so surprising. Desperation? Embarrassment that they still support this criminal administration? Shame?
Ok, not that last one. ;)

38. The first thing my Republican mother said when told my son had enlisted
in the Marines in 2003 was, "Why in the world would he want to do that?" Now, my husband and I had the same reaction but we had NEVER supported this war. She has always been a big Bush supporter and defends everything the Republicans do. She used to complain about how the media was focusing too much on how many American troops were being killed. We've been very lucky that our son has been stationed in Japan the entire time and has one more year before he gets out -- we hope!

I'm often amazed that I emerged from such a hypocritical home with my brain intact!

There are limits to cognitive dissonance. When you've come to believe that you are a hard-as-nails, no-nonsense, macho conservative, defender of the US... then someone points out that you're really the biggest coward of all, hiding at home and begging for daddy Bush to protect you at any cost... well... it's got to sting.

42. Bushlovers are very awkward around me
since my son is a Marine with two tours in Iraq and one more coming up in January. They know my son, my husband, my son's twin sister, and I do not support Bush. We support what is best for America. So....they're a little quieter with their bloodlust cheerleading for war while their sons and daughters, often Bushies themselves, "fight the war over here". My family understands there is a difference of opinion. It's the naked warlust which is disgusting. It's the attitude Ted Turner referred to as treating war like a football game. And my son is one of the players they're cheering to victory.
That attitude diminishes us all.

72. My guess is it's that third one....
People are reluctant to face the truth there. Another way it's been said:

"Armies are the Terrorists of the rich. Terrorists are the armies of the poor."

But I salute you for a great display.

75. We're seeing just the opposite here in NC. At first we got some
dirty looks, but now we get thumbs up all the time. My wife's vehicle and mine are plastered with them.

82. I just showed my husband
your pic and he wants the one that says, "If you support the war...Why aren't you there now?" I can see small lettering on the bottom. Is it a website, by chance?
