Halliburton: Friends of George Allen

No wonder David A. Smith, the Halliburton whistleblower, told Senators Byrd and Rockefeller he doesn't trust Allen to conduct a real investigation: http://www.shareholdersonline.org/pdf/092006senateinvestigationrequest.pdf

Other Friends of George Allen include:

1. I Can Use That in Follow-up Meetings on The Hill
That's additional evidence supporting my belief that George Allen won't conduct anything resembling an even-handed investigation into Halliburton/KBR's Federal contracting practices, here in Northern Virginia.

- David A. Smith*, Editor of HALwhistleblowers.org and BushBunglesBrigade.org (where George Allen is a Brigadier General in the Bush Bungles Brigade)

* not to be confused with David R. Smith, the VP of Tax at Halliburton, my former employer, whose group still has not publicly explained the tax treatment of the offshore money paid to Nigerian officials

3. George Allen protects Beltway Bandits, such as Halliburton/KBR's...
... operations in Northern Virginia.

In return, they reward him handsomely for his complicit stance on oversight investigations.

7. It Would Also Be Interesting...

8. For Instance, Here's How to Check Halliburton's Bundled Campaign $$$
http://www.fec.gov/finance/disclosure/advindsea.shtml

Type in any of the Halliburton affiliates in the "employer" section of this advanced search feature on the FEC website.

For a list of Halliburton's principal subsidiaries: http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/45012/000004501206000124/exhibit21.htm
