So Abu Ghraib Abuse was just a sex ring, not torture according to Repub

Just when you begin to think Republicans have stretched the boundaries of reasonableness to the limit, you get statements like this one.

He did not equate sexual abuse with torture.

Amazing.

7. Madness is a euphemism.
What went on there was fugging torture.

2. They have kinda fucked up ideas about sex, you must admit

Pornography is in the eyes of the beholder. If Chris Shays finds nude, blindfolded men rolled in shit and stacked in pyramids to be sexually titillating, along with cadavers wrapped in plastic, and naked men cringing from German Shephards--and he's confident that others of his party see it the same way--who are we to doubt him?

5. Hmmm--
Sex with biting, growling, snapping dogs. And for a climax, the dog rips your bone right off.
Has Shays given up weed for something stronger?

He's nuts!

9. So they torture because they're perverts?
That's almost as good as they have sex with pages because they're drunks.

13. And This Comes From a So-Called Reasonable Republican, Not Extremist
... just takes your breath away to fathom how outrageous their view of reality must be for them to think people will be persuaded to agree with their view of things.

"Only" there for necrophilia ??

But that wouldn't be as bad as torturing people to death either, would it?

15. Chris Shays has come up with a couple of whoppers the last two days
First he said that at least Hastert didn't kill anyone (making comparisons to Ted Kennedy) and then this. Shays had been one of the more moderate Republicans in Washington. I guess he didn't want that label anymore.

:wtf: is up with Shays. He's always struck me as one of the few sane repubiclowns. He's either really desperate, or he needs to up his meds.

18. Rape is an act of torture.
I don't care if it occurs in a prison in Iraq or in a home here in the states. Rape is an act of torture.

Torture is any act designed to dehumanize and cause harm to another person. It is an abuse of physical power in attempt to break another person psychologically, emotionally and physically. Anyone who thinks rape is somehow above this is f*cking insane and not fit for leadership.
