<snip>

Schelske, 43, who is currently unemployed, ran for Congress as a Republican from Oregon’s 5th District in 2002. He is a native of Salem, Ore.

He could not immediately be reached for comment.

In the filing in state court in Franklin, a Nashville suburb where the couple has a home, Evans alleges that Schelske watched pornography on the couples’ computers and has at least 100 nude photographs of himself in a state of arousal.

She also alleges that several photographs show Schelske having sex with other women, and that Schelske maintains “Craigs Lists” on his computers, some of which involve requests for three-party sex and anal sex.

According to the court documents, the oldest of the couple’s children confronted Schelske when he was watching pornographic material on the television in their home.

3. This is one of those instances where I was in the dark
I had no idea that she was a Repub, and married to a GOP guy.

I just always thought that she was really pretty, and had a beautiful voice. And I don't even care for Country music that much.

4. This from her husband's campaign website:

"He also serves as the Executive Director for AmericanDestiny.com, an educational organization that seeks to reeducate the American population and students in particular, as to the philosophical and religious origins of the American Civilization."

Somehow I don't think the Founders had themselves drawn nude, in various states of sexual arousal.

6. Republicons love to lecture America about their special "family values"
which somehow -- when the cover gets blown off their hypocricy -- always seem to involve deviancy and perversion.

Why can't republicons have a nice healthy normal sex life, like most people?

Can you spell r-e-p-r-e-s-s-i-o-n? Energy, when not expressed freely and naturally, always comes out kinky and perverted. And the republicon party proves that over and over and over.

Why do republicons hate normal, healthy sex -- and instead engage in sneaky, perverted, twisted, hurtful, demeaning sex?

Hey man, Craig was just shaking and remembering and restoring and rebuilding and all (with the help of his digital camera, apparently).

5. You know, maybe the fundies are right about porn
Edited on Fri Oct-13-06 03:38 PM by TlalocW
To a degree. They say that it destroys marriages, etc., but it only really seems to destroy their marriages with any regularity. Maybe they should come up with a way to keep porn out of their own hands.

According to evangelical Christians' own surveys, their parishioners are just as likely to "sin" as non-evangelicals by living together before marriage, having kids out of wedlock, and looking at porn. It's also well-known that when evangelical religious groups have a convention at a hotel, the pay-per-view porn movie watching skyrockets.

Now most of these people live in what are considered the red states. In the blue states, however, all these things happen as well, but the divorce rate is so, so much lower. Plus, some blue states "should" have an extra strike against their marriages staying together because they allow or are pushing for gay marriage like Massachussetts which ranks 49th in number of divorces... at least according to evangelical thinking they should have that strike against them.

It would seem that the evangelicals are only half-right about their cultural issues. The rest of the country is mature enough to handle seeing naked boobies and pee-pees without it screwing up their lives. They aren't.

I'm also sure, but can't prove yet, that country music also somehow has a negative effect on their morals and psyche.

14. Actually I believe that they really hate what they are
and figure that by outlawing it, that someone can keep it out of their hands.
They are really Orwellian.
What's up is down, black is white, etc.
So it only makes sense that members of the party of personal responsibility are essentially members of the party of personal irresponsibility.

10. y'all know why I listen to Hannity
for the talking points of course!
But the last time these two were separated, Sara stayed with the Hannity family, they live very close to each other and Sara is the Hanbag's wife's best friend. At least she was at that time, he talked to her about it on the air.
Sara always does the Hanbag patriotic show thing in the summer, just the reason I do not like her.

12. It made it to the Yahoo home page for music
http://music.yahoo.com/promos/topevents/

This week is all about breakups and makeups. First, in celebrity-split news, there's country gal Sara Evans. Ironically, not long ago she was the subject of a mass email sent out by former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, who urged his friends to vote for Sara on Dancing With The Stars (instead of talk-show smut peddler Jerry Springer or "bad girl of pop" Willa Ford) because Sara "represents good American values." But now Sara is filing for divorce from her husband, Republican Congressional candidate Craig Schelske, claiming he's a verbally abusive adulterer who watches porn in front of their children and collects hundreds of photos of himself doing the nasty with other women. (Wonder if Willa Ford is one of them?) Yikes. Sounds like Chris ought to be a guest on The Jerry Springer Show. Anyhoo, the almost equally disheartening news is Sara has decided to quit Dancing With The Stars mid-season to focus on her personal problems. Compound this with the early elimination of DWTS contestant Tucker Carlson, and it's hard to predict who DeLay will root for now...

My local congressman, Mike Ferguson has some mild sex stuff also. He also a Repervican as well.
