KO is on and Lt Cmdr Charles Swift is on and might I say,
thank you Lt Swift for doing the right thing. So sorry for what it cost you personally.

KO is interviewing him at the top of the show. They are talking about the case and where it is right now.

1. He's an honest man -- worth infinitely more than any career.
And our country needs honest people now, more than at any time in its history.

Being honest also means Swift's new career may take him to even greater heights.

2. The Bush Administration: Punishing success and
...rewarding failure.

Swift succeeded in a major Supreme Court case, and so he's being forced out of the military.

What next?

If he goes to work for a civil liberties organization, I'll probably donate to it.

If he runs for Congress as a Democrat, I'll probably donate to him.

3. They all swore to uphold the Constitution...
he actually did it. With this bunch, no good deed goes unpunished.

Oh, well, he'll make more money in the private sector anyway.

5. I saw that earlier tonight and I said to Mr. Wonderful
if this country survives the next two years, Lt. Commander Swift will go down in history for his defense of the Constitution.

IMHO he is truly an American hero....
