The best line of the show, one that sent me howling with laughter, was when Miller told Lowry, “Unlike some of these fake Nobel-prize winning doctors you guys have had on here during the Terri Schiavo thing, she was actually nominated by someone that was qualified.”

Miller went on to blithely out-argue Lowry and Liddy on why staying the course is not working and she was able to do it in less than 15 seconds. “Look, if someone invaded our country and said we had weapons of mass destruction and we didn’t, do you think Americans would try to kick them out? Rich, the vast majority of Iraqis want us out of their country!”

Miller is a News Hounds top dog again!

The context for bashing Sheehan was her claim that she is a finalist for a Nobel Peace Prize. But, Alan Colmes said during the introduction, her claim could not be confirmed.

With a smile, Miller told him, “I went to the source and then I went to AP who confirmed she was on the short list for Nobel nominees. It’s called journalism. FOX News might want to check into it sometime.”

but I disagree that she out argued anyone. The Fox Head was very effective in asking a loaded question, then talking over the answer, and then twisting and dismissing her response.

I would have liked to see her get pissed and go off on a truth rant. Still, good on Stephanie Miller.

I've never seen a clip of this Lowery guy before. I can't even begin to imagine how insufferable he is in person. God strike him with permanent laryngitis, please.

Also, watching a fugging criminal like Liddy spouting off about moral issues like the war in Iraq and what qualifies as working for peace, makes me wonder if irony died the day Fox chose him as a spokesperson.

that as well a disperse opinion about current events. Okay let's fast forward to Rush Limbaugh, an unabashed entertainer when he is threatened with a slander suit, however Rush does lie. Now Stephanie offers commentary and satirical repartee to current events. She doesn't lie. Also, when being attacked by a right wing pundit, journalist or blow dried talk show host, she definitely comes into her own and can blow them all back with facts wrapped in succinct and brief one liners like no one else I know can do.

When Stephanie is attacked, she's at her best. She really can zing it back and with elegant style. She and Bay Buchanan used to have a show on CNN. She regularly mopped the floor with Buchanan, but the show was canceled and replaced with something with Tucker Carlson I believe. This was during Clinton's adminstration. I believe this is when we were beginning to see, but not observe, the beginning of CNN being taken over by the batwinged right wing.
