MoveOn is holding them across my state and, I assume,
around the country.

Let's check in when we get back, OK?

2. Oh, it's "Monopoly" Iraq, by BushCo .
Chance: Your child is shot crossing the street to the market. Go straight to "Graveyard" and pay the BushBank $5,000 Dinar for her funeral.

3. Important DVD, but Disappointing to Me
I bought a copy of Iraq for Sale to watch and pass along to family members.

The movie starts out with families talking and segments start dragging out too long! Then throughout the movie there are graphics with lines going everywhere that are impossible to read. Something about the movie seems kind of thrown together. I prefer to be given the facts and not have someone try to tug at my heartstrings!!

OTOH, I met a lady at a Democrats meeting who says she and her son are in the movie, so I will be watching it again to see them and hopefully get a better overall impression of the film.

5. Here's the skinny.....
Went to a house not far away......

Wonderful people, a family of writers, were our hosts.

A cross-section of people, young--old--white--black,
my little family included, were the guests.

We made introductions, then we made phone calls--
to PENNSYLVANIA! Regarding the Senate race between
Casey and Santorum. I think we were lucky to be able
to call on such a high-profile race.

I talked to many people who were DISGUSTED with Santorum.
I also talked with some dems who were NOT thrilled with
Casey OR Santorum.....

The bottom line is that MoveOn got the data they were looking
for, I got to talk to some like minded people several states
away, and here in my neighborhood.

The movie didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know,
but it did put a clearer price tag on this "war".

...AND from now on, when I talk about our involvement in Iraq,
I am NOT going to say, "OUR TROOPS" any more. From now on, I
will make it a POINT to say, EVERY TIME:

"OUR TROOPS AND MERCENARIES IN IRAQ".

EVERY TIME.

I'm glad I went.

Anyone else attend a video meeting in their area?
