This is our "Diplomat" John Bolton in Action Regarding NK....
Edited on Sat Oct-14-06 03:47 PM by leftchick

<snip>

The U.S.-sponsored draft would declare the claimed test had increased tension in northeast Asia, creating "a clear threat to international peace and security." It would declare the act in "flagrant disregard" of the council's appeal not to detonate a nuclear device, demand that North Korea not conduct any further test or launch any more ballistic missiles, and authorize a range of economic and diplomatic sanctions.

The draft would freeze the financial assets of and impose a travel ban on individuals and entities with any connection to North Korea's weapons or missile programs. It would also ban countries from selling luxury goods to North Korea.

Asked why, Bolton said, "I think the North Korean population has been losing average height and weight over the years and maybe this will be a little diet for Kim Jong Il," North Korea's leader.

Chinese Ambassador Wang Guangya questioned how the can would be defined, saying: "I don't know what luxury goods means, because luxury goods can mean many things for different people ... if they don't have it."

9. overconfidence, over simplification and personal
insults about both NK and Kim will get you - the USA - into the same situation as you find yourself in in Iraq. eg Rummy saying the war wont last six months; flowers and chocolate etc; not to mention the crazy comments that arse licker Gen Pace is going on about.

Kim may have an odd look to him but to go on thinking he is stupid or mad, based upon how he looks is a recipe for disaster.

Stupid people do not survive very long in Kim's position.

5. Bolton looks like he was hastily put together
Not to mention the fact that he's a complete idiot and the worst possible candidate to represent the United States in the UN at this point in time.

Kim Jong Il is a nationalistic dictator but does the GOP actually believe he's dumb enough to launch a nuclear strike on any other nation? What would he gain from that? Nothing. The international community would be on him like a fat kid on a cupcake.

8. I don't think he will launch first.
but he ain't stupid either. I know if I were in his shoes i would not have gone ahead with the test if I didn't have a backup plan, just in case.

4. Funny when the dumbass compared the NK ambassador
to Nikita Kruchev....
At the same time he's trying to gain support from Russia.
And he calls himself a silver tongue diplomat?

Watch the people seated next to and behind him react next time they play the vid.

He might as well have compared the situation to when the Chinese killed hundreds at Tienanmen Square.

How do people get these jobs in this government?
Is there a test? Do I have to score lower than Buxh?

Or is the only criteria an undying loyalty to GWB?

Silly me. How did we get in this mess in the first place. Let's see, it started about 6 years ago as I recall.
