"Theocracy House"

You know those fundie haunted houses that pop up around the country during Halloween season a.k.a. Hell House? I thought someone should put on an antidote to that called "Theocracy House" that depicts the consequences of America coming under fundamentalist Christian rule. For example, one room shows zombified children worshipping Bush and speaking in tongues (Jesus Camp), another shows a gay guy living under 2nd class citizenship similar to how blacks lived before the 1960s, another depicts a rape victim dying in childbirth because abortion is illegal, and so forth. Who else likes this idea?

6. something having to do with pharmacists refusing to fill prescriptions?

I don't know exactly how you'd make it work in a haunted house without making it look cheesy, but something along the lines of pharmacists deciding you don't get to have your anti-psychotic (or something relatively more mundane, like blood pressure) medicine because the pharmacist's "religious beliefs" preclude him from dispensing medication that supposedly aides conditions that are really just caused by a lack of faith, or because it's God's Will, so they deserve to be schizophrenic/in pain from arthritis, etc.

7. I'm thinking such a house would be a "house of *real* horrors"

such as forced prayer in schools, burning homosexuals at the stake, worship of leaders as God's chosen representatives, attempts to convert the entire world through war, things like that.

10. Some ideas

* Someone trying to exorcise the demon spirit from a schizophrenic (since the fundies don't believe that mental illness exists).
* A woman with 10 stairstep kids in a trailer, because birth control will have been outlawed.
* A woman being beaten by her husband for burning dinner, because the law will state that a woman must obey her husband and his property.
* A cell full of gay people, who will have been rounded up and installed in ghettos.
* A child dying of an infection, because antibiotics come from science and science is evil.
* An interracial couple being arrested, because to some fundies that one is a sin as well.
