The criminal conspiracy that destroys America
Doug Thompson
Capitol Hill Blue

Sadly, the President of the United States is a criminal. In fact, he should be arrested, tried and sentenced to life in prison as a repeat offender.

He is a war criminal who led this nation into an illegal conflict based on lies. His criminal conduct in the invasion of Iraq has led to the deaths of more than 2,000 American military men and women and countless thousands of Iraqi civilians.

He ripped the Constitution to shreds, ordering the National Security Agency, the Pentagon and other government agencies to spy on American citizens.

His administration trampled basic American freedoms, creating a police state through the Gestapo tactics of the Department of Homeland Security and the rights-robbing USA Patriot Act.

He lied to the American people about his close relationship with corrupt GOP lobbyist Jack Abramoff, claiming he didn’t know the man who raised more than $100,000 for his campaign and visited the White House more than 200 times in his first year in office as well as trips to the ranch in Crawford, Texas.

He ordered the Environmental Protection Agency to withhold information about dangerous toxins dumped into the air over Manhattan when terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center.

His vice president met secretly with the CEOs of America’s top energy companies, cutting deals that gave those companies record profits while ripping off consumers at the gas pump.

Bush’s crimes against the Constitution and the American people began the day he took office and continue today. Each day brings new revelations of abuse of power, evasion of the law and disregard for basic rights of privacy.

1. Yep Bush vs. Rico
I guess I will dream about that a little. I watched NBC tonight and they said most Americans didn't care about Bush wire tapping. What gutless wonders the Corporate Media is. Those students that turned their back on Gonzles are as brave as the guy at Ten. Square. thank you to them.

2. bush loathes america
the proof is so plentiful yet there are 50 million amers (they aren't americans, having lost that name as a result of their contempt/hatred for america, and proven beyond certainty by their support of their beloved bush)...anyway, 50 million amers either can't or won't see the evidence that bush and his 'base' despise the usa the way it was on nov6th/00 and they have remade it to their own idea w/out the people of usa having a say (and this includes the amers, who are as screwed as everybody else)....btw, new orleans and the gulf coast had its share of busheviks (amers)....hahaha. imagine what they must think seeing their region abandoned to the corporate piggy!

3. Since Capitalism is a new Experiment
Our Government is a Representative Democracy and our Economic system is a "controlled" Capitalistic model. Taken together, they are relatively new and assumed to be the best systems devised to accommodate individual initiative while protecting individual rights (formerly, especially minorities).

Is what we now see the natural course (BushCo) that these systems evolve to? It is logical to see where Capitalism, a competition of ideas that lead to goods and services (Darwinism) to produce the most profit, would eventually cannibalize the government to produce the most profit.

If so than Capitalism is flawed and leads to the demise of even the most well-constructed Democracy.

4. It isn't exactly a conspiracy. Bush is pretty up-front about what a bunch

of assholes he is leading. Though they use myth - that is "politics".

Not a conspiracy. That would imply they hide their means and ends. And they are not doing that are they.

I would love for Bush to call his gang the Kool-aid drinkers. Likewise, the GOP would love Dems and Democratic supporters to call him and his ilk a "conspiracy". The big difference is that they do suffer from group-think so they actually are kool-aid drinkers. Americans & the world angry at the elite powergrab .. are not conspiracy theorist. It is all quite obvious.

Do some digging & see if you still feel that there is no conspiracy.

9. Well the 9/11 thing is a conspiracy - if you talk about Bush cabal
putting phoney Arabs on planes. There is not evidence of that. The experts all say it was bin Laden.

I mean that the neocons control and GOP cabal are not a conspiracy. Their ends are obvious every day. As too the plans they set out years ago. PNAC has been up front about its dreams. Neocons have talked openly about using myths so a small elite group of wackos could control a big democracy.

This is all well known.

8. I have thought of Bush & Co. as criminals for years.
Nice to see that people are starting to agree, but sheesh. It was obvious LONG ago.
